Details:

Pre-Work: Please complete all the eLearnings in the curriculum called ELINP202 CareConnect Inpatient Fundamentals prior to attending the classroom training session. Access your Pre-Work from at Cornerstone.

During your class, you will learn how to:

  • Create a customized myList and locate patients.
  • Identify the need for a consult.
  • Navigate the patient’s chart.
  • Document in Flowsheets/Navigators.
  • Write consult and progress notes and link the consult order.
  • Enter verbal/telephone or per protocol orders (per scope of practice).
  • Review and update patient education and care plans (or Master Treatment Plan for NPH staff).
  • Practice your workflow with department specific exercises.
