Cloud PC/Virtual Desktop

What is a cloud PC/VDI?

Currently, most users are set up to connect to their office PC by remoting in from their home computer. With a cloud PC/VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), users will be able to connect to their cloud PC in the exact same way, without the need for a physical PC in their office. Users should not notice a difference!

Why you should consider

  1. If you have an old PC that is NOT working efficiently, you would need to order a replacement. Now-a-days, the time it takes to order, receive, and then deploy a PC takes weeks, sometimes months. We can minimize the turnaround time to just a few days with this option.
  2. Performance of this “Cloud PC/VDI” is much better than an ordinary (low/mid-range) PC. This is because cloud PCs use enterprise level hardware that run the operating system in the background.
  3. If you have a staff member/user who is permanently working remotely, then there is no need to have a physical computer occupy an office space. The user can connect to the cloud PC.
  4. We can provide maintenance quickly for cloud PCs. For example: if the PC runs out of hard drive space, we can increase the space within hours instead of weeks that we would have needed if we were to purchase a physical hard drive and then replace it.
